Details about Sessions:
Climate Change Overview–an over view of evidence that the climate is warming world wide
Is Climate Change Just a Bunch of Hot Air?–a student panel and the audience will ask the panel questions about the evidence presented above. The panel will not give presentations, but rather respond to questions. I do not see this panel using AV to answer questions.
International Perspectives–what happened at Copenhagen and what are the difficulties in securing international cooperation to address climate change?
Louisville Climate Action Plan–an overview of the plan prepared by the PGC and actions taken to date. How can Teach In participants help as a group and as individuals to implement the plan?
Regional Impacts–an overview of the meteorological changes in Louisville’s climate and the public health, ecological, and economic impacts.
UofL’s Climate Action Plan–describe the green house gas emission inventory. What steps have other universities taken to reduce the green house gas emissions, what are the likely elements of UofL’s GHG emission plan, and what steps has the University taken or plans to take?
